We were just stopping in quickly on a road trip before heading home and brought our dog along. The front desk staff were really friendly both when we arrived and when we checked out, which made everything easy. They went the extra mile for our dog with treats, a dog bed, and even a welcome card with his name on it, which was such a nice and unexpected touch. You can tell they genuinely care about being pet-friendly. Parking was a bit rough, but considering the price point, it was still a really positive stay overall. Comfortable, welcoming, and great if you’re traveling with a dog. I’d stay here again.

For the price it’s worth it actually not bad beds fairly comfy, maybe bring your own pillow if you don’t like stiff ones. The location is perfect right in Jasper and prices reasonable around 250 for 2 nights. Also bonus the 3 hot tubs and pool/sauna amazing exactly what is needed after a day of skiing. Also have vending machines all over for midnight munchies.

Fantastic Family Getaway – Clean, Spacious, and Great Amenities! We recently stayed at the Tonquin Inn for a family weekend and had a wonderful experience. Our room was impressively clean and spacious, providing plenty of comfort for the whole group. The indoor pool area, complete with a gym, hot tub, and sauna, was spotless and very well-maintained. A huge highlight for us was the two outdoor hot tubs located side-by-side—the perfect way to unwind in a great location. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Tonquin Inn for anyone visiting the area!

The front desk staff are efficient and friendly. We had a family suite with two queen beds and a small kitchenette. We had our dog with us, and they provided us with doggie treats, a dog bed and dog bowl in the room. Pet fee is $25 per stay (not night). Shower had great water pressure, and towels were nice sized and absorbent. The adjacent restaurant had good food.

Was cozy and enough space for 2. Rooms were clean and always saw staff out with cleaning carts. Pool was nice and always empty when we went.. steam room was a nice end to the day.

We were very happy in our suite! We enjoyed our stay very much. Loved having the outdoor hot tubs. Our room was clean and the kitchen was well appointed, so breakfasting infrastructure perfect.

We stayed at Tonquin Inn for one night. As a motel, the room was spacious, the gardens are nicely kept, and there are outdoor jacuzzis — overall decent for its category, though the property clearly shows its age. Our room had two queen beds and a kitchen, which sounded great in theory. Some parts of the room had been partially renovated, but many areas were still very dated. For example, the kitchen cabinets and furniture were quite old, and the sofa was so worn and dirty-looking that we didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it. The kitchen setup wasn’t very practical either: no paper towels and no ventilation/extractor fan. When we pan-fried steak, the fire alarm went off, which gave us quite a scare. We quickly opened the door to ventilate and called hotel staff for help. They explained that the room has a fire alarm but no sprinklers, so there was no risk of water damage — reassuring to know, but it would have been helpful if they had informed guests about this beforehand. The staff were friendly and tried to help, but because there was no exhaust fan, the garlic and cooking smells lingered all night, making it hard to sleep comfortably. Bottom line: good value for a basic stay with spacious rooms, lovely gardens, and outdoor hot tubs, but maintenance and cleanliness need improvement. Before booking, it’s a good idea to ask whether any rooms have been recently renovated, so you can choose the best option available.

We stayed for one night and really enjoyed the beautiful view from our room. The team also surprised us with two small pet beds and food for our pets, which was incredibly thoughtful and made us feel that our pets were truly treated as family members. This was the first hotel we have visited that went above and beyond in this way, and it left a very positive impression of their pet-friendly hospitality. GOOD JOB! guys.
